Charges held for court against Uniontown man charged in assault

By Herald Standard Staff 1 min read

All charges against a Uniontown man accused of assaulting his girlfriend last month were held for court last week. Uniontown police said Kaz McClain, 39, of 38 Dunlap St. was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment and making terroristic threats as a result of the incident.

Magisterial District Judge Michael M. Metros held all charges against McClain for Fayette County Court following a preliminary hearing last week.

Uniontown police Officer Jason Fidazzo said that the charges were filed after Rhonda Duritsky, 29, of Uniontown told police that McClain assaulted her after waking her up around 5:30 a.m. May 29.
