Joseph E. Onufer
Joseph E. Onufer, 61, of Perryopolis, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 4:30 a.m. at his home. Born April 15, 1949, in N. Charleroi, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mildred Sabolek Onufer.
A resident of Perryopolis for the past 13 years, Mr. Onufer was a retired carpenter from Whg-Pgh Steel, Allenport Plant, a social member of the Fayette City American Legion, member of the Perryopolis Sons of Italy and the Jefferson Estates Golf League.
He is survived by two daughters & son-in-law: Erin Onufer & fiance Tom Roman of Adah, Rachel & Terrence Petty of Washington; grandson, Jayden; significant other, Mary Jane Croftcheck of Perryopolis; two step sons: George Croftcheck of Grafton, OH and Joe Croftcheck of Elyria, OH; dear friends: Chuck & Pat McPartland of Donora and ex-wife & friend, LuAnn Onufer of Monessen.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Koszykowski.
Visitation will be held today from 6-8 PM and Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Services will be held Friday at the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home at 10 AM with the Rev. Lawrence L. Manchas, Pastor of St. Sebastian R.C. Church officiating.
Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
