Emily Jane Golden
Emily Jane Golden, 85 of Dunbar, Pa. went to be with the Lord, Sunday, June 27, 2010 in Uniontown Hospital. She was born July 6, 1924 in Dunbar, daughter of the late Nellie Murphy Bodkin.
She was a member of Dunbar Baptist Church and VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 8543.
Emily was a homemaker.
Surviving are children: Larry Golden (Margaret), Dunbar, Terry Golden (Sylvia) Dunbar, Nancy (Pixie) Soberdash, Morgantown,W.Va, Danny Golden (Brenda), Dunbar, Alan Dale Golden (Esther), Dunbar; sisters and brothers, David Bodkin (Sandy), Fla., Delores Bodkin, Little Summit, Sylvia Pagen (Bernie), Dunbar, Marie Hamilton (John), Calif., Fred “Butch” Bodkin (Carol), R.I., 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Richard (Dick) Golden.
Friends will be received from 6 to 9, Tuesday, June 29 and 12 to 9 Wednesday, June 30 in the BURHANS-CROUSE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Connellsville St., Dunbar, PA.
Services will be held in the Funeral Home, Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Robert Wrachford officiating.
