Clarence W. “Stumpy” Fisher
0005893328-01-1.jpg Clarence W. “Stumpy” Fisher Sr., age 78, of Uniontown, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday June 26, 2010 in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born in Playford, Pennsylvania on October 18, 1931, son of Frelan F. Fisher Sr. and Effie M. Dillow Fisher.
He was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Uniontown.
He was employed at Sol Sieff in Uniontown as a Truck Driver/Warehouseman for 27 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son Gerald Fisher; sisters and brothers: Marie Metts, Anna Mae Mansberry, George Fisher, John Fisher, James Fisher, William Fisher.
Left to cherish his memory are: his loving wife Alberta J. (Kimmell) Fisher; children: Clarence W. Fisher Jr. and his wife Vivian, Candace Swiantek and her husband Lawrence; and two grandchildren: Ashley Nicole (Swiantek) Thomas and her husband Derek and Christopher Fisher.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL H O M E I N C. 603 N o r t h Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pennsylvania today (June 29) and Wednesday June 30, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, July 1, 2010 until 1 p.m., the hour of Service with Pastor Aaron Peternel and Pastor Clayton VanVerth officiating.
Military Honors will be accorded by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 47.
Entombment will be private in Sylvan Heights Mausoleum, Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
