0005893336-01-1.jpg Loving Wife and Mother Nellie M. Farine Mancini, age 94, formerly of Hiller, Pennsylvania died Sunday, June 27, 2010 in the Washington C o u n t y H e a l t h Center, Washington, Pennsyl-vania.

She was born on June 6, 1916 in Elm Grove, Fayette County, Pennsylvania beloved Daughter of Frank Farine and Margaret Renosi Farine.

Nellie was employed for 24 years as a Dining Hall Worker for the California University of Pennsylvania, retiring in 1989.

Mrs. Mancini was a member of The Historic Church of Saint Peter in Brownsville. She was also a member of the Sons of Italy Rosa Garibaldi Lodge 1818, Brownsville.

On June 29, 1940, Nellie married Marty J. Mancini. He died May 4, 2001.

She was also predeceased by her Parents; one Son, Bernard Mancini; two Brothers, Frank Farine and Albert Farine; four Sisters, Alice Sabatini, Wilma Fordyce, Mary Farine and Angeline Hoddo; and Nephew, Ronald Farine.

She is survived by one Daughter, Rita Butler and her husband Carl, Washington, Pennsylvania; and a Daughter-in-Law, Marie (Bernard) Mancini, Brownsville, Pennsylvania. Nellie was the proud grandmother of six beloved Grandchildren: Bernard Mancini Jr. of Brownsville, Michael Mancini and wife Marlene, West Brownsville, Pennsylvania, Mark Mancini of Merrittstown, Pennsylvania,

Matthew Butler and his wife Natalie, Crystal Lake, Illinois, Marnie Vogtli and husband Robert of Olean, New York, Molly Klaich and husband Robert of Sewickley, Pennsylvania; Great Grandchildren: Gabrielle Mancini, Madelyn Butler, Ayden Butler, Cal Vogtli, Chase Vogtli, Sydney Klaich.

Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, PA 15417 (724.785.6488) on Wednesday from 3 to 8 p.m. where Prayer Service will be held Thursday, July 1, at 9:30 a.m.

A Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in The Historic Church of Saint Peter in Brownsville with Rev. Father Vincent Gigliotti as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Saint Peter’s Church Cemetery
