Barbara Ann Arnold
Barbara Ann Arnold, age 56, of Fairchance, Pa., passed away Monday, June 28, 2010 in the Uniontown Hospital, after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born August 9, 1953 in Uniontown, Pa., the daughter of Ann Nalepka Arnold of Buffington, Pa. and the late Jesse Arnold Jr.
Barbara was a member of St. Procopius Catholic Church, New Salem, Pa., Gateway Sportswear, Masontown and Sew A Lot in Waltersburg.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Amber Dawn Wellington and her father.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by brothers: Jesse Arnold III and wife Dawn of Darlington, MD and John Arnold and wife Missy of Shinston, WV; sisters: Debbie Kitta of Newboro, Pa. and Christine Kutek and husband Paul of New Salem, Pa.; several nieces and nephews, and her ex-brother-in-law, Robert Kitta of Newboro, Pa.
Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME, 20 North Mill Street, New Salem, Pa., today from 3 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, July 1, 2010 until 9:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held. A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m. in St. Procopius Church, New Salem with the Rev. Fr. James Clark as Celebrant.
Interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park.
A Wake Service will be held today at 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Barbara’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
