Ruth Irene Whetsel Groppi Kirkpatrick, 88 of Uniontown, Pa., died Tuesday June 29, 2010. She was born October 10, 1921 in Waltersburg, Pa.

Ruth was a member of the Uniontown Free Methodist Church and was a former seamstress at the Michael Berkowitz Company.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, Uniontown, Pa. and will be announced.
