South Union Township man faces gun charge

A South Union Township man is facing a felony charge for illegally carrying a firearm following an incident in Uniontown Tuesday. Patrolman Thomas Kolencik said Myron Lee Rose, 31, of 2 Cinder Road was charged with carrying a firearm without a license following the incident.

Kolencik said the incident occurred Tuesday night when Fayette County 911 received a call regarding a man walking on East Main Street with a handgun.

Kolencik said 911 dispatchers provided a description of Rose.
