Ronald R. (Sino) Gera
0005859425-01-1.jpg Ronald R. (Sino) Gera, age 67, of Carmichaels died May 4, 2010 in Uniontown Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Gera was born May 8, 1942 in Uniontown, the son of the late Raymond L. and Emma Goodish Gera. He grew up in Edenborn, Pa.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Brown Gera, a daughter, Jennifer Gera, Washington, D.C.; 2 sons, Jonathan Klimek (Beverly Whipkey), Carmichaels and Jason Klimek (Elizabeth), Washington, D.C.; 2 grand daughters, Jade and Maddie Klimek, and a sister, Carol Zipp (Eugene), Lemont Furnace.
Ronald was a graduate of German Twp. High School in 1960. He served his country as a Military Policeman in the U.S. Army in Vietnam, and was a retired coal miner from Maple Creek Mine. He was a member of the UMWA, and attended St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church in Carmichaels. He enjoyed gardening and bird watching.

Friends will be received in the LESAKO FUNERAL HOME INC., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, Pa. 15320, Paul M. Lesako Funeral Director/Supervisor, today from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Friday from 9 to 9:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held at the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Hugh Church, Carmichaels with the Reverend John Bauer, Celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Crucible, Pa. where full Military Rites will be accorded by the VFW Post 3491 and American Legion Post 400.
