Connellsville Highlands Hospital announces upcoming activities
Highlands Hospital, Connellsville, lists upcoming activities during May. They include the following: n Wednesday, and May 19 and 26 – Diabetic Management Class, 10 a.m. to noon and 2-4 pm. Village Plaza. For more information call Pat Gittinger, RN, diabetic educator at 724-628-8008.
n Thursday, and May 20 and 27 – Diabetic Management Class, Diabetes Center, 5:30 pm. For information call Gittinger at 724-628-8008.
n Wednesday and May 26 – Dancing with Diabetes at the South Connellsville Fire Hall, 6 p.m. Come alone or bring a partner, fun, free ballroom dance lessons for people with diabetes and people at risk for diabetes. For information or to RSVP, please call Pat at 724-628-8008.
n Wednesday – Diabetic Support Group, 7 p.m, back dining room. For inquiries call 724-628-8008.
n May 27 – Francis Bud Murphy 5K Memorial Race sponsored by Highlands Hospital. The race begins and ends at the hospital, start time 7 p.m. sharp. Call 724-626-2440 for details and/or applications. There will be prizes, refreshments and post race party at Bud Murphy’s.
Registration fee is $15 and $17 race day. Participants are eligible to win a $200 cash prize. Winner must be present.
