Bertha Cindric Hudock
Bertha Cindric Hudock, age 97, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away peacefully on Friday evening, May 14, 2010 in the Lafayette Manor Nursing Center. She was born September 16, 1912 in Mount Sterling, Pa., the daughter of the late John Cindric and Mary Cindric.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Frank Hudock and her children: Dennis Hudock, Frank Hudock Jr., Robert Hudock and Susan Hudock.
Bertha was a member of St. Mary’s (Nativity) R.C. Church, the Christian Mothers and the Oliver Mothers Club.
She made braided rugs, loved bingo and was a great cook and baker.
She was a wall paper hanger. She hung wallpaper for many homes in the Uniontown and Oliver Area.
She is survived by her loving children: Margaret Henckel, Betty Ann Kennedy and her husband Frank and Michael Hudock and wife Donna all of Uniontown; 21 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; three daughters-in-law: Alice Hudock and Yvonne Hudock both of Uniontown and Nancy Hudock of Oliver 1 and several loving nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, PA, today, Monday, May 17, 2010 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday morning until 9:30 am when Prayers of transfer will be said followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Mary’s (Nativity) RC Church with Rev. Father Micah E. Kozoil as celebrant.
Interment follows in St. Mary’s Cemetery Uniontown.
Parish Wake will be held today at 7 pm in the funeral home.
