Jeffrey Lynn Fike, age 60, of Uniontown, Pennsylvania passed away Thursday, May 13, 2010. He was born June 13, 1949 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania son of Rev. Robert C. Fike and Roberta E. Thomas Fike.

Jeffrey was retired from Wharton Elementary School, Uniontown School District, after 35 years of teaching.

He was a member of the P.S.E.A., former member of Walnut Hill United Methodist Church and current member of the Carmichaels United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his three children, Daniel B. Fike and wife Barbara, Sarah J. Fike and Elizabeth L. Fike, and their mother, Dorothy Jeanne Davis Fike, a granddaughter, Grace Elizabeth Fike, and his partner, Terry Flanigan, all of Uniontown, Pennsylvania.

Family will receive Friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. today (Monday, May 17, 2010) until 11 a.m., the hour of the Service with Rev. Arnold Husk officiating.

Private interment in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.

Visitation was also held on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
