Two-vehicle accident

Two people were injured, one seriously, in a two-vehicle accident at 11 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Route 857 and Big Six Road.
William L. Dwyer, 71, a passenger in a vehicle driven by Marilyn L. Dwyer, 62, of Perryopolis, was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown with serious injuries after their vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by Clayton J. Wilson, 31, of Stoystown. A spokesperson reported Dwyer was in serious condition Saturday night.
Police said Wilson pulled out from Big Six Road and was struck by the Dwyer vehicle, which was traveling north on Route 857.
Passengers in the Wilson vehicle, Jenifer L. Scarlett of Somerset, received minor injury and was transported to Uniontown Hospital, and Matthew J. Wilson, who was in a child safety seat, was not injured.

Robbery
State police are searching for Thomas William Wells III, 24, of Elco, following a robbery at 7 p.m. Friday at a residence on Main Street, Village of Crescent Heights.
The victims, Jerome J. Stewart, 26, and Tiffany D. Stewart, 26, of Daisytown, told police Wells was visiting them when he grabbed $200 in cash from a living room table as he brandished a handgun. Wells allegedly pointed the gun at the victims as he fled the residence on foot. A warrant was obtained for Wells and he was entered into NCIC as a wanted person. He is charged with robbery, theft, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.

Fugitive arrested
State police arrested Francis Conrad, 42, of Uniontown, in a traffic stop at 9:33 p.m. Friday near Iowa Street, on an outstanding warrant from Virginia.

Criminal Mischief
Jeff Hein, 45, of Smithfield, told police someone threw a bottle and large steel pipe at his vehicles at 38 Veteran St., Dunbar, causing damage to two vehicles. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-439-7111.
