Ann Louise Lucas McClain
Ann Louise Lucas McClain, age 89 of Hopwood, Pa., passed away Thursday evening, May 20, 2010 in the Uniontown Hospital. She was born February 14, 1921 in Lemont Furnace, Pa. the daughter of Stanley Lucas and Mary Vitz Lucas.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons: Sonny “Harry” McClain and Ray McClain; granddaughter, Michelle McClain; great-grandson, Keith Roby; son-in-law, Walter Boskovich; brothers and sisters: Walter Neratka, Stanley Neratka, Red Neratka, Toni Lucas, and Francie Los, who was her twin sister.
She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, she retired from Sensus, formerly Rockwell International, she volunteered with many agencies, she loved to fish and loved her plants.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Mary Ann Boskovich; also her daughters-in-law: Connie McClain and Rae McClain; grandchildren: Danette Kern and husband Dave, Debora Jefferies and husband Mike, John Boskovich and wife Sara, Tim Boskovich, Annie, Patty, and Connie McClain, Annette and Scout McClain; sisters: Toni Takoch of Uniontown, and Flo Los of Florida; also her great-grand-children: Kristi Marhefka, Beth Boskovich, John Boskovich, Nicole Jefferies, and Sean Boskovich, who were all her devoted caregivers and several loving nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown today from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Monday until 8:30 am when a Blessing Service will be held followed by a 9 am Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Alexander L. Pleban as Celebrant.
Interment follows in St. Joseph Church Cemetery, Hopwood, Pa.
St. Joseph Parish Family Vigil by the Ministries of Consolation will be held today at 3 p.m. followed and the Rosary at 3:15 p.m. recited by the Christian Mothers in the funeral home.
Visitation was also held Saturday evening from 7 to 9.
