Mary A. Luick
0005874466-01-1.jpg 0005874466-01-2.jpg Mrs. Mary A. Luick, 85, of Hopwood Passed away on Monday, May 24, 2010 at Laurel Ridge Center, Uniontown. Mary was born on December 16, 1924 in Oliver, Pa., the daughter of James and Margaret (Kegg) Shanaberger.
She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters and a grandson, Fredrick Michael.
Mary is the last surviving member of the Shanaberger family. She loved to play Bingo especially at the Hopwood Volunteer Fire Department and drinking coffee at Herrings Restaurant.
Mary is survived by her children: Clifford (Nick) Luick of Anaheim, CA, Margaret Garrow of Brick, NJ and Jeff Luick and wife Cynthia of Tampa, FL, three grand-children: Justin Luick of CA, Tony and Chris Garrow of NJ and numerous great grand-children.
Friends will be received in the THOMAS M. DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, 136 N. Gallatin Ave. Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Internment will be private.
A special thanks from her son, Jeff to Bill and Ruth Shanaberger and everyone in Hopwood who would look after Mary.
