Washington Twp. An oil furnace, two 15-amp electrical service boxes and some carpeting were stolen from a home at 130 Goodhill Road owned by Scott Zollars of Hickory between 11 a.m. Nov. 3 and 9 a.m. Nov. 4, said state police in Waynesburg. Whiteley Twp. Cabin entered

A 37-inch flat-screen television, cordless phone, microwave oven, cordless drill, circular saw and a cordless drill were stolen from a hunting cabin on Kirby Road owned by John Frownfelter of Waynesburg between Oct. 2 and Nov. 5, state police said.

Jefferson Twp. Driver charged

Driving-under-the-influence-of-alcohol charges were filed against Stanley C. Stockdale, 63, of Jefferson after he was stopped for a traffic violation on Adamick Road at 12:39 a.m. Saturday, state police in Waynesburg said.

Morgan Twp. Vehicles collide

No one was injured when vehicles driven by William T. Meyers, 56, of Bentleyville and Ronald Georgetti, 68, of Avella crashed on Route 188 at 3:25 p.m. Nov. 6, state police in Waynesburg said.

Perry Twp. One-car accident

Bryan L. White, 35, of Mount Morris was not injured when his car struck an embankment off Haines Ridge Road in Perry Township, Greene County, at 6:15 a.m. Thursday, state police said.

Washington Twp. Car hit deer

Christopher S. Klammer, 44, of Pittsburgh was not injured when his car hit a deer on Interstate 79 at 6:15 a.m. Friday, state police in Waynesburg said.

German Twp. Phone line stolen

About 250 feet of Verizon phone cable was stolen from a line in a wooded area along Gates Road, cutting service to customers in the area sometime before 9:20 a.m. Friday, state police said. Police ask anybody with information about the theft to call the station at 724-439-7111.

Bullskin Twp. Man hits woman

William C. Ohler, 42, of Connellsville was charged with simple assault and harassment for allegedly hitting Amy Lynn Leighty, 40, of Connellsville in the face, causing minor injuries at 119 Pole Cat Hollow Road at 1:35 p.m. Oct. 31, state police said.

South Union Twp. Medication stolen

Retail theft charges are pending against two men caught on surveillance cameras stealing numerous boxes of Prilosec, a gastroephageal reflux disease medication, and Prevacid, a stomach and intestinal ulcer medication, from Wal-Mart on Aug. 22, state police said. One man fled the store through fire exit doors with two shopping baskets full of the medications and entered a silver Honda Civic, which the second man was driving, police said.

South Union Twp. Theft charges filed

Retail theft charges were filed against Brandi Barden, 31, of Uniontown for allegedly tearing UPC symbols from packages of several personal hygiene items and concealing them at Dollar General on Route 21 on Nov. 1, state police said. The store manager stopped Barden and called police, police said.

North Union Twp. Boat damaged

Someone damaged a 1977 aluminum boat owned by Joseph Kostelnik at his home on Ruskin Road at 8:41 p.m. Nov. 6, state police said. Police ask anybody with information about the theft to call the station at 724-439-7111.

Bullskin Twp. Woman cited

July Copley, 39, of Normalville was cited with public drunkenness for allegedly being intoxicated in public on Sweitzer Road at 8:54 p.m. Saturday, state police said.

North Union Twp. Woman struck

State police said a Uniontown man struck a Uniontown woman during an altercation in North Union Township Friday night.

South Union Twp. Teen cited

State police said a 16-year-old boy was charged with disorderly conduct following an incident outside a business in South Union Township Saturday afternoon.

Georges Twp. Gasoline stolen

State police said someone stole $10 worth of gasoline from the Exxon service station on Route 857 at 4:30 p.m. Friday.

Bullskin Twp. Windows smashed

State police said vandals smashed windows of a vehicle owned by Tina Savage of Bullskin Township while it was parked on Rich Hill Road between 11 p.m. Thursday and 1 a.m. Friday.

German Twp. Gasoline stolen

State police said someone stole $25 worth of gasoline from the Sunoco service station on Route 21 Thursday afternoon.

North Union Twp. Theft reported

Two radios, money and food owned by Stone and Company were stolen from the business on Hopwood-Jumonville Road in late September, state police said.

Menallen Twp. Crash reported

No one was injured when a car driven by Crystal Blunt of Uniontown crashed on Route 40 at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, state police said.

Dunbar Twp. Vehicle stolen

State police said a vehicle owned by John Yeager of Dunbar Township was stolen from a location on Wood Street between 6 p.m. Nov. 2 and 10:05 a.m. Wednesday.

Hempfield Twp. Cars collide

No one was injured when vehicles driven by Gregory Bellotti of Irwin and Calvin Thorpe of Mill Run collided on Route 30 at 1:30 p.m. Friday, state police said.

Fairchance Report issued

Fairchance police said they fielded 23 calls for service during October, including one report of drug activity, one robbery, one case of harassment and one domestic dispute. Police said they patrolled 600 miles during the month and issued 24 traffic citations and eight traffic warnings. Police said the also issued 2 non-traffic citations during the month.
