Armistice Day founder from Connellsville

CONNELLSVILLE – Members of the American Legion Milton Bishop Post 301 paid tribute Thursday to its fallen comrades and the member that is credited with the founding of Armistice Day, now known as Veterans Day. Leonard Dulik, 2nd vice-Commander of the Connellsville post and Iraqi War veteran, said that because the annual Veterans Day parade was being held in Uniontown, members thought it would be fitting to conduct a local service to honor those who had honorably served along with Max C. Floto, the Father of Armistice Day.
