0005950941-01-1.jpg Thelma June Shultz, 72 of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2010 in the Uniontown Hospital surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born September 4, 1938 in Friendsville, Md. daughter of the late Theodore Jackson Thomas and Grace Virginia Teets Thomas.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband John Lee Shultz and a sister Katie Thomas.

Surviving are her daughter Jonica Leigh Yauger and husband Shawn of Uniontown; her four grandchildren who her world revolved around: Starr Leigh, Alivia Reign, Monique Jolie and Jett Michael Yauger; three sisters and a brother: Shirley Silvester of Hagerstown, Md., James Thomas and wife Debbie of Kingwood, Wva., Bonnie Sines of Friendsville, Md., Deborah Punday of Clarksburg, Md.; numerous nieces and nephews and her grand puppy, “Daphne”.

She spent over 50 years caring for others, she had been employed for over 30 years at Laurel Health Care and most recently worked for Comfort Keepers.

She attended Bethel Baptist Church.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, Pa., today from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday until 1 p.m. the hour of the service with Pastor Bryan Kelley officiating.

Interment will follow in Addison Cemetery.
