Linda J. Petyk
Linda J. Petyk, age 70, of Perryopolis, Pa., passed away Friday, October 1, 2010. She was born November 7, 1939, in the state of Virginia, the daughter of the late Fred C. and Destia McConnell Hillman.
Linda had two passions in her life, art and giving love.
She touched many people and will be sadly missed.
She is survived by one daughter, Rachel Lindey of Fayette City, Pa.; and three sons: Richard C. Petyk and wife, Sara of Pittsburgh, Pa., Ross S. Hindman of Perryopolis, Pa., Randall S. Hindman and wife, Sharon of Mt. Pleasant, Pa.; six grandchildren: Hattie, Hannah, Christian, Brittany, Crystal, Jason; one great-granddaughter, Chelsea; and one sister, Janice Pastore and husband, Ronald of Nokomis, Florida.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Petyk.
Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, Pa., today 7 to 9 p.m., Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday until 10 a.m. the hour of service with Rev. Robert Spence.
Interment will be in Addison Cemetery, Addison, Pa.
