Artist Bethany Lowe to visit local business

By Herald Standard Staff 1 min read

Bethany Lowe, a self-taught artist who created Bethany Lowe Designs, will visit Neubauer’s Market House, 36 E. Church St., Uniontown, from noon to 4 p.m. Oct. 23. “We are proud to host Bethany at Neubauer’s Market House. Her schedule of personal appearances is very limited and includes upscale retailers such as Marshall Fields and Bergdorf Goodman,” said Steve Neubauer, president and general manager, Neubauer’s Flowers and Neubauer’s Market House.

Lowe’s designs are based on folk art legend characters from around the world. Lowe was chosen from a pool of nationally-known artists in 1997 and 2005 to design folk art decorations for the White House Christmas displays.

Her products are frequently featured in leading design magazines, including Country Living, Country Home and Martha Stewart Living. Lowe has also been chosen three times as one of Early American Life’s Craftsmen of the Year.
