Charges reduced against woman charged in bar fight

Charges filed against a Uniontown woman accused of assaulting another woman at a Uniontown bar Aug. 13 were reduced to summary counts today. Uniontown police Officer Travis Shandor said Tasha May Walton, 30, of Uniontown was charged in August before Magisterial District Judge Michael M. Metros with aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct for assaulting Christine Holchin.

Shandor said Holchin, 26, suffered a broken nose and injuries to her neck, hip, elbow and knee as a result of the altercation.
