Dolores Ann Suchevits “Toots”
0005957352-01-1.jpg 0005957352-01-2.jpg Dolores Ann Suchevits, “Toots”, age 76, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her husband and loving family on Friday, October 8, 2010. She was born March 9, 1934 in Lemont Furnace Pa., daughter of Thomas and Rose (Kokoska) Barkovic.
She married Edward E. Suchevits, Sr. on June 2, 1956.
She graduated from North Union High School in 1952. She was a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union for over 50 years and a member of the St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church.
She enjoyed Sunday dinner at home with her family, swinging on the back porch with the hummingbirds near, watching the grandchildren play in the backyard, and playing Trivial Pursuit with her kids. In her younger years, her hobbies were spending time with her friends, traveling, being at the beach and playing Bingo.
In addition to her parents, Rose and Thomas, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Dolly A. Suchevits and a beloved son, Edward E. Suchevits, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 54 years, Edward E. Suchevits, Sr.; children: Mary Rose Suchevits, Geri Rivera, Monica Suchevits, Donna Welsh and husband Kevin, Carol Ferencak and husband Mike, David Suchevits, Steven Suchevits, Debra Hudock and husband Brent, Mark Suchevits and wife Erin; grandchildren, Edward Suchevits III, Sean Suchevits, Lee Edenfield, Jennifer Suchevits, Natalie Rivera, Alex Rivera, Timothy Suchevits, David Suchevits, Jr., Steven Suchevits, Jr., Emily Welsh, Jeremy Welsh, Mathew Suchevits, Tyler Suchevits, Adison Suchevits, Andrew Hudock, Luka Suchevits, several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC, 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, Pa. today until 11 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.
A Solemn Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 noon in St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church with Father Stephen R. Bugay as Celebrant.
Interment will be held at Mount Macrina Cemetery.
