Brownsville man charged with sexually assaulting three teens over a nine-year period

A 41-year-old Brownsville man is behind bars after police allege he sexually assaulted three teenage boys, one boy 1,000 times, at different times and location beginning in 1994 and continuing through 2003, police said. State police Trooper Louis J. Serafini said James R. Roll of 27 Playford Ave. was charged before Magisterial District Judge Joseph M. George Jr. with six counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, three counts of sexual assault, six counts of indecent assault and three counts each of corruption of minors and furnishing alcohol to minors.

According to criminal complaints filed in the cases, Roll molested the children – who ranged in age from 13 to 18 years – beginning in 1994.
