MORRELL VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT will hold a Polish festival from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at the former Richards Chevrolet building, Route 119, Connellsville. Dynasonics polka band will provide music from 1 to 5 p.m. Admission is $5 for those younger than age 70. Food includes traditional Polish food such a pierogies, cabbage rolls, potato pancakes, cabbage and noodles, German hot potato salad as well as hot dogs, hamburgers cooked on the grill. Cheese cake, paczki, hot ginger bread, fresh filled doughnuts will also be sold. Take out orders will be available. Proceeds benefit the fire department.
LAUREL HIGHLANDS YOUTH FOOTBALL LEAGUE will hold its first spaghetti dinner fundraiser from noon to 5 p.m. Oct. 23 at the North Union Volunteer Fire Department social hall, Lemont Furnace. Dinners are $7 each. For more information, call 724-437-6756.
POINT MARION UNITED METHODIST CHURCH will hold a four seasons arts and craft show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the church social hall, corner of Morgantown and Broadway, Route 119 in Point Marion.
