By Christine Haines 1 min read

REDSTONE TWP. – Trick-or-treat will take place on Saturday, Oct. 30, for children in Redstone Township. The supervisors Wednesday said trick-or-treat will take place from 1-3 p.m. for children ages 12 and under. All children must be accompanied by an adult and they are asked to stay within their own village. Residents handing out treats should turn on their porch lights.

The supervisors also approved two mercantile licenses for new businesses in the township. Paul Mickey and Lori Hough applied for a license to operate “Precise Construction,” a residential remodeling business. In addition, Hough applied for a license to operate “Caribbean Sun Tanning Salon,” which will be open seven days a week. Both businesses will be located at 6016 National Pike, Grindstone.

In other matters, the supervisors announced that a tentative 2011 budget will be prepared for adoption at the November meeting.

The final budget is scheduled to be adopted in December.
