Bank bandit sought

Redstone Twp. State police in Belle Vernon are looking for a man who robbed the PNC Bank in Redstone Township Thursday afternoon. Trooper Joseph Panepinto said that a white man wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and a dark mask came into the bank around 1:15 p.m. and demanded money from the tellers.

The man then fled on foot from the bank at 103 Integra Street, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-929-6262.

UNIONTOWN Man charged

State police said Daniel J. Stolz, 30, of Uniontown was charged with disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and public drunkenness following an incident at 254 S. Mount Vernon Avenue on Oct. 5.

Connellsville Twp. Fraud reported

State police said Sherry Skiles of Springfield Pike reported that she had numerous charges to her bank account that she did not make or authorize.

South Union Twp. Man charged

State police said that Charles Porter Frankenbery, 52, of Uniontown was charged with harassment after he got into a fight with Christine L. Frankenbery, 40, of Uniontown at 69 Ruble Drive on Oct. 8.

South Union Twp. Two charged

State police said Joyce Lynn Braxton, 51, and Jayette Lynn Serratta, 42, both of Uniontown, were charged with disorderly conduct after they allegedly got into a fight on Feathers Avenue around 6:15 p.m. Wednesday.

North Union Twp. Accident reported

State police said Arnold T. Cramer, 46, of Uniontown sustained a minor injury in a two-vehicle accident on Connellsville Street around 10:34 a.m. Thursday.

Police listed Cramer as the driver of one of the vehicles and Thomas R. Russell, 45, of Addison as the driver of the other vehicle involved.

German Twp. Burglary reported

State police said that David C. Piccolomini of Uniontown reported that someone broke into his home on Balsinger Road and stole various items between Tuesday and Wednesday.

South Union Twp. Two-vehicle accident

A vehicle driven by Wanda E. Hibbard, 52, Uniontown, struck a vehicle driven by Justin R. Guthrie, 25, Fairchance, while Guthrie was stopped at the intersection of Morgantown Road and Brownfield Lane at 1 p.m. Oct. 8.

Hibbard and passengers, Richard A. Harden, 49, Fairchance, and a 16-year-old male, were taken to Uniontown Hospital by Uniontown EMS, both with minor injuries. Guthrie received a minor injury, but was not transported. Two other passengers in his vehicle were not injured.

State police cited Hibbard for violating the Pennsylvania vehicle code.

Connellsville Twp. Accident probed

A vehicle driven by Samuel L. Gemas, 25, Connellsville, struck a vehicle driven by John L. Miller, 42, Mill Run, which was then pushed into a vehicle driven by George E. Lasure, 50, of Stoystown at 3:41 p.m. Thursday along Springfield Pike.

No injuries were reported.

South Union Twp. Retail theft

Dennis Brangard Jr., 20, of Uniontown was charged by state police with retail theft Friday after he allegedly stole merchandise from Spencer’s, Uniontown Mall.

North Union Twp. Accident reported

State police said no one was injured in a three-vehicle accident on North Gallatin Avenue around 3:15 p.m. Thursday.

Police listed the drivers involved as Scott A. Menarcheck, 23, of Smock; Kera L. Johnson, 35, of Uniontown; and Daniel S. Swaney, 38, of Fairchance.

David E. Clark, 14, of Uniontown, was a passenger in Johnson’s vehicle, police said.
