Harry Regis “Rege” Weaver, 75, Grindstone, Pennsylvania “joined our Lord” o n F r i d a y, October 15, 2010.
0005960996-01-1.jpg Harry was born on July 13, 1935 in Rowes Run, Pennsylvania. “Rege” was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the Hutchinson Sportsmen’s Club.
He worked as an Inspector for General Motors at their Lordstown, Ohio plant from where he retired after 26 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Edward and Anna Pearl (Sheets) Weaver; a sister, Lois Weaver; and two brothers, Earl Weaver and Roy Weaver.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, E d n a N a o m i (Cumberland) Weaver; these children: Shirley Tate and her husband Henry, Warren, Ohio, Regis E. Weaver and fiancee Janice Ritsko of Fairchance, Pennsylvania, Donna D. Weaver of Grindstone, Larry M. Weaver and wife Deborah of Grindstone; grandchildren: Regina R. Santore and her husband Robert, Michael J. Tate, William Ray McAnallen, Cheri D. Weaver, Jason Nelder, Amanda R. Weaver and Lynda N. Weaver; a great grandson, Seth Michael; the following brothers and sisters: Lillian Weaver, David Weaver and wife Margaret, Shirley Walsh and husband John, William Weaver, A l v i r a Harmon and husband Hassell, and Oakie Weaver and his wife Sherry.
Family will receive Friends in BERNARD M. TOWNSEND FUNERAL HOME, 220 South Main Street, Masontown, Pennsylvania today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, October 19, 2010 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., the hour of the Service with Pastor Kevin Roberts officiating.
Interment will follow in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown, Pennsylvania where Military Rites and Honors will be accorded by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post and the American Legion Post both of Masontown.
Visitation was also held on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
