Three Uniontown juveniles face charges following fight at football game
Uniontown police said they charged three Uniontown juveniles for offenses ranging from assault to disorderly conduct following a fight at the Uniontown High School football game Oct. 15. Uniontown police School Resource Officer Michael C. Garrow Sr. said the incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. when a fight broke out on the west side of the stadium.
Garrow said that during the scuffle police attempted to detain several combatants. Garrow said one teen attempted to kick him in the groin and legs and had to be restrained by Garrow and another officer. Additionally, Garrow said that a 10-year-old boy was cursing and swearing at police and physically resisting them and had to be restrained by two additional officers.
A teen girl was also cited for her role in the incident, he said.
Garrow said all charges were filed through Fayette County Juvenile Courts.
