By Herald Standard Staff 1 min read

A Pittsburgh man is behind bars after he was caught hiding under a table inside a closed portion of a Uniontown bar, swilling alcohol from several bottles, police said. Uniontown police said Brandon Robert Ulrich, 26, of 117 Birch Ave. was charged early today before Magisterial District Judge Dwight K. Shaner with burglary, theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.

Police said the incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. Thursday when James Tesauro, a bartender at the Highland House on West Main Street, entered a rear, locked area of the establishment and noticed that a cash register was broken into.
