Madalyn Ursula Liston Inks
Madalyn Ursula Liston Inks, age 88, passed peacefully away on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at her residence in Uniontown, Pennsylvania surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 21, 1922 in Gans, Pennsylvania the daughter of M. Hayes Liston and Florence Lightburn Liston.
She had been an employee of the now former G. C. Murphy Company and was a member of Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Monica Stickles, Kathleen Speace, Marcella Hogan and Hazel Liston; and brothers, Norbert Liston, George Liston.
Surviving are her devoted and loving childhood sweetheart and husband of nearly 65 years (December 3rd) Camdon W. (Bud) Inks; six children: Karen A. Kochis and husband Thomas and Ileen Monahan and husband James all of Uniontown, Diane M. Maurey and husband Terry of Allison Park, Pennsylvania, David W. Inks and his wife Diane of Chesterton, Indiana, Edward A. Inks and his wife Andrea of Carpinterio, California and Christina M. Fike and husband Warren of Smithfield, Pennsylvania; eighteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Loretta Winski of Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL F U N E R A L HOME, 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, on Tuesday from 2 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, October 27, until 9:30 a.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 50 Jefferson Street, Uniontown, Pennsylvania with the Reverend Father Michael J. Crookston as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pennsylvania.
