Elizabeth Ann Duritsa Driver
0005970191-01-1.jpg Elizabeth Ann Duritsa Driver, born on February 1, 1919 in Uniontown, PA, peacefully passed of natural causes at her home on October 21, 2010. Elizabeth retired from retail in 1979 in Pittsburgh, PA and relocated to Greensboro, NC in 1980. Elizabeth joined Saint Pius X Church and was quickly involved in many ministries in the church in which she participated even on the day of her death. She was an avid reader and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles when not taking pleasure in her great grandchildren.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents Helen and John Duritsa, siblings Ann Duritsa, Mary Franz, Katherine Mroziak, Helen Kuchar, Albert Duritsa, John Duritsa, George Duritsa, Peter Duritsa and her husband, Karl Driver in 1964.
Cherished, she is survived by her sister Sue Gaster of Uniontown, PA, her son, Richard Driver and wife Connie of High Point, NC, granddaughter Elizabeth Atkins and husband Randy of Aiken, SC, granddaughter Laura Lemmer and husband Ron of Greensboro, NC, granddaughter Connie Heelan and husband Edmond of Louisville, KY, grandson Doug Driver and wife Ellen of Greensboro, NC, 11 great-grandchildren and 17 nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass was held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 25, 2010, at Saint Pius X Catholic Church in Greensboro, NC.
