Robert Allen Walker
Robert Allen Walker (aka “Junk Yard Dog”), age 60, of Washington, Pennsylvania died Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at Washington Hospital. He was born on April 7, 1950 in Brownsville, Pennsylvania the son of Alice Jane Walker of California, Pennsylvania and the now late James Brown.
He was previously employed by Losko Auto Repair as a Mechanic.
He was an avid fisherman, loved working on cars, animals (especially cats) and collecting cans.
Robert will be dearly missed by his family and friends!
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth White Walker.
In addition to his mother, he leaves to cherish his memory four sons: Johnny Laqutis, Robert Kelley, Bobby Walker and Josh Walker; daughters: Shannon Bennett and Josie Walker; several other children two brothers: Charles Walker and Larry Walker; two sisters: Elaine Walker and Josephine Walker Irwin; and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Friends may visit with the Family on Sunday, September 5, 2010 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at CANAAN BAPTIST CHURCH, Luzerne and Second streets, Hiller, Pennsylvania.
A Funeral Service will follow at 7 p.m. conducted by Rev. Andrew K. Dent, Pastor.
Interment will be private.
