Scheduled events n On Wednesday, the men’s group of the Bobtown United Methodist Church will meet in the church at 6:30 p.m.
n On Sept. 18, the Shannopin Civic Club at Bobtown will hold a dance for students from 7 until 9 p.m. in the hall. All students are welcome with a fee of $2 per student. Call Laura Sarapa at 724-839-7593 for more information.
n On Sept. 20 at 6:30 p.m., the monthly meeting of the Shannopin Civic Club at Bobtown will be held in the hall. Any females age 18 and older is invited to come out and join the club. Several projects for the community are being planned and much help is needed. Dues will be payable to the treasurer at this time.
n The Charge Conference for the Bobtown, Mount Calvary and the Taylortown United Methodist Churches will be held at the Mount Calvary Church at 7 p.m. Sept. 22. All members of the churches are invited.
