Frances Bobak Apicella
Frances Bobak Apicella, age 92, of Fairbank passed away in the Uniontown Hospital on Friday, September 3, 2010. She was born July 2, 1918 in Buffington, Pennsylvania the daughter of Joseph Bobak and Antoinette Bester Bobak.
Frances was a member of Saint Thomas Catholic Church, Footedale, Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A l b e r t Apicella; son, Robert Apicella; a brother, Joseph Bobak; and her parents.
Surviving are sons: Albert Apicella of Seatontown and Melvin Apicella and his wife Debra of Uniontown R.D.; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; sisters Dorothy Kallis of New Salem R.D. and Joan Karol of Allison; two brothers: John Bobak of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania and Edward Bobak of Uniontown; several nieces and nephews.
A private viewing for immediate family and relatives will be held at ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME, 20 North Mill Street, New Salem, Pa., on Tuesday, September 7, from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. when a Prayer Service will be held.
Funeral Mass will follow at 1 p.m. in Saint Thomas Church, Footedale, with Rev. Father Peter Peretti as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in S a i n t T h o m a s Cemetery Footedale, Pennsylvania.
