Joann Blocher
JoAnn Blocher, 78, a long-time resident of Arnold, formerly of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, died on Tuesday, September 1 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis of natural causes. She is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, John W. Blocher, three daughters: Elizabeth Blocher McCabe of Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, Jacquelyn Blocher-Moran of Severna Park, and Stephanie Peltzer of Parkton; one sister, Ponsella Ewing of Uniontown Pennsylvania; and three grandchildren, Luke, Sophia, and Owen.
Family and friends may visit from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, September 6 at BARRANCO & SONS, P.A. FUNERAL HOME, 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park.
A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, September 7 at 10:00 a.m., St. Andrew by the Bay Catholic Church, Arnold.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew by the Bay Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville.
