Allan Ernest Ramsey
Allan Ernest Ramsey departed this life on Thursday, September 2, 2010. He was born April 19, 1945 to Roy and Justine Ramsey.
Allan graduated from South Union High School in Uniontown, Pa.
He served in the Vietnam War.
Allan retired from Columbia Gas with 33 years of service.
He will be remembered for his gentle and compassionate ways. Allan was the type of gentleman who could talk to anyone.
He leaves to cherish his memory his Wife, Sylvia Ramsey; Sons: Todd Ramsey, Greg Beckwith and wife Julie of Midlothian, Virginia and Brian Beckwith of Richmond, Virginia; four Grandchildren: D’Auria, Chelsea, Brittany and Greg, Jr.; Siblings: Jean Wright Edison (Audrey) Hairston, Harold (Patricia) Hairston, Sr., Thomas (Patricia) Ramsey and Brent (Carol) Ramsey; a host of other Nieces, Nephews and Relatives; and many Friends.
Viewing will be at CITY CHAPEL, 254 East Main Street, Uniontown, Pa. today, September 7, 2010 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Services will be held in CITY CHAPEL on Wednesday, September 08, 2010 at 11 a.m. Reverend Leonard Kirby will officiate.
