Greta Rose Mayle Bruich
Greta Rose Mayle Bruich, 75 of Brownsville, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully Friday September 10, 2010 in the Veterans Affairs Healthcare System, Oakland Division, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania She was born August 22, 1935 in Grafton, West Virginia daughter of Harter L. Mayle and Nancy L. Hays Mayle.
Greta was a loving Mother who enjoyed time with her Family and Friends.
She was a former employee of and volunteer at the Flat Iron Society in Brownsville.
Greta was also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps who served in the Woman Marines Company, Headquarters Battalion.
On May 23, 1960 Greta married Bryan Bruich. He passed away on December 23, 1997.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and by a brother, Harter Mayle Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons: Bryan Bruich of Arnold, Maryland and James Bruich and his wife Crystal of Vanderbilt, Pennsylvania; four daughters: Lynn Nichols of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Clare Mucho and husband Jack, Centerville Pennsylvania Polly Shontz of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Diane Hogsett and her husband John of Brownsville with whom she made her home; grandchildren Christian Ruby and wife Alexa whom she raised, Joshua Amalong, Matthew Eloshway, Sydnee Nichols, Leah and Kelsey Bruich, Taylor Mucho, Lauren and Kaydee Buletza, John III, Madelyn and Aubrianna Hogsett, Lucas and Aden Bruich; three great grandchildren: Caleb Ruby, Jadon Ruby, Lillian Mahan; a brother, Lovant Mayle and his wife Sandra of Hiller, Pennsylvania; a sister, Dottie Eckels, Amity, Pennsylvania; numerous nieces and nephews; and extended family: David Buletza and Karen Bruich.
Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME, 19 Legion Street, Republic, Pennsylvania today from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday September 14, 2010 until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with Pastor David White officiating.
Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, Pennsylvania.
