By Herald Standard Staff 1 min read

State police said they have identified and captured a man accused of raping and beating a Fayette County woman in German Township Monday. Trooper Alec J. Hamilton said Anthony Cramer, 23, of McClellandtown was charged before Magisterial District Judge Ronald Haggerty Jr. with rape, kidnapping, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated assault and simple assault.

Police said the incident began when Cramer offered the alleged victim a ride from the parking lot of a business on West Main Street in Uniontown sometime after midnight.
