Conference play begins for some area teams in Week 3 of high school football, while other teams already have two conference games in the books. Connellsville opens Foothills Conference play at McKeesport in a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.

Belle Vernon hosts Trinity in Big Eight action at 7:30 p.m.

Class AAA Keystone Conference play begins tonight at 7 p.m. with the Uniontown Red Raiders traveling to Greensburg Salem, Derry at the Laurel Highlands Mustangs and Franklin Regional at the Albert Gallatin Colonials.

In the Class AA Interstate Conference, every game has a 7:30 p.m. kickoff with the Brownsville Falcons traveling to Yough, the Southmoreland Scotties hosting East Allegheny and the Waynesburg Central Raiders hosting Jeannette.

Beth-Center takes its 44 points-per-game offense to Mapletown looking to remain undefeated in the Tri-County South Conference for a 7:30 p.m. start. Jefferson-Morgan also hopes to remain undefeated facing road game at Frazier to take on the Commodores at 7:30 p.m. The Monessen Greyhounds travel to Carmichaels for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.

West Greene travels to Geibel Catholic Saturday for a noon kickoff.

Riverview hosts the undefeated California Trojans in non-conference play at noon Saturday.
