Audrey Maust Brown
0005942688-01-1.jpg Audrey M. (Maust) Brown, age 80, of Leesburg, Virginia and formerly of Uniontown, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, September 17, 2010. She was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania on December 29, 1929 the daughter of Charles A. and Margaret J. Maust.
She devoted her life to her family and friends, her home church, St. Paul’s Lutheran in Uniontown, and to her dear S o u t h U n i o n Township neighbors on Eggleston Street.
She especially loved music and singing, and she was a member of the Senior Choir at St. Paul’s for many years before relocating to Virginia.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William E. Brown; and an infant daughter, Laura Ellen Brown.
She is survived by her brother, E. Gene Maust, and sister-in-law, Aileen Maust, of S p r i n g f i e l d, Virginia; her children: James A. Brown and daughter-in-law Jessica Brown of Lovettsville, Virginia Phillip L. Brown of Hopwood, Pennsylvania, LuAnn B. Yates and son-in-law Robert Yates of Salem, Virginia, Joy L. Dotson and son-in-law Howard Dotson of Round Hill, Virginia; and her beloved grandchildren: Phillip Brown and Kristen Brown both of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, Kara Yates of Salem, Virginia, Mattie Dotson and Gracie Dotson both of Round Hill, Virginia and Liam Brown, Lovettsville, Virginia.
Friends will be received at the J. HARRY JOHNSTON FUNERAL HOME, 65 North Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown, Pennsylvania today (Monday, September 20, 2010) from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
F u n e r a l Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 21, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 71 North Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown, with the Rev. Paul N. Frank Jr. officiating.
Interment will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
