Judge Nancy D. Vernon recently handed down sentences in Fayette County Court. Sentences for driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) generally require driver’s license forfeiture and attendance in the county’s alcohol safe-driving school, and also can include admission to the Interlock Program.

Sentenced were:

Edward Theodore Sokol, 40, of Lemont Furnace was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in prison for DUI.

Calvin Lawrence Shawley Jr., 31, of Ruffsdale was sentenced to a total of 18 to 36 months in prison for two cases, each involving robbery.

Durrand William Liston, 31, of Uniontown was sentenced to one to two years in prison for DUI.

Jean Ann Shaw, 57, of Uniontown was sentenced to one year probation for theft by unlawful taking.

Jennifer Showman, 26, of Connellsville was sentenced to oen year probation for theft by unlawful taking.

Sherry Scott, 40, of Normalville was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in prison for DUI.

Christopher Andrew Manchas, 26, of Masontown was sentenced to 20 months intermediate punishment, with the first 90 days served on electronic monitoring, for DUI. In a second case, he was sentenced to one year probation for receiving stolen property and 60 days intermediate punishment, all served on electronic monitoring, for driving with a suspended license.

Thomas Nathan Teets, 25, of Vanderbilt was sentenced to one year probation for criminal mischief.

Kevin Louis Santore, 23, of Grindstone was sentenced to one year intermediate punishment, with the first three months served on electronic monitoring, for possession of a controlled substance.

Jeffrey Allen Matthaei, 36, of Morgantown, W.Va., was sentenced to one year probation for criminal solicitation-promoting prostitution.

Caren Lesly Dickey, 46, of California was sentenced to one year intermediate punishment, with the first 12 months served on electronic monitoring, for DUI.

Craig Alan Carlson Jr., 28, of Everson was sentenced to 18 to 24 months in prison for burglary.

Shane Earl Arb Jr., 25, of Dunbar was sentenced to one year probation for retail theft.

Bonnie Lee Thomas, 49, of Confluence was sentenced to 48 hours to six months in prison for DUI.

Tony Prescott, 21, of Connellsville was sentenced to six to 23 months in prison for possession with intent to deliver drugs.

Darrell S. Samuel, 30, of Masontown was sentenced to three to 12 months in prison for possession with intent to deliver drugs. In a second case, he was sentenced to eight months, 15 days to 17 months in prison for fleeing or eluding police. The sentences run concurrently.

Lisa Ann Rebar, 39, of Fairbank was sentenced to one year probation for unsworn falsification.

Arnold Timothy Cramer Jr., 22, of Uniontown was sentenced to one year probation for theft by unlawful taking.

Eugene Scott Hall, 45, of Melcroft was sentenced to six months intermediate punishment, with the first 12 days served on electronic monitoring, for DUI.

Brandon T. Bailey, 22, of Connellsville was sentenced to 48 hours to six months for DUI.

John James Sanzone, 44, of Connellsville was sentenced to six months intermediate punishment, with the first 90 days served on electronic monitoring, for DUI.

Jeremiah Cole, 20, of Masontown was sentenced to one year probation for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Charles Henry Brown, 61, of Hiller was sentenced to one to 12 months in prison for furnishing drug-free urine.

Jonathan M. Brown, 20, of Vanderbilt was sentenced to three to 23 months in prison for criminal mischief.

Leeland Ray Barnhart Sr., 62, of McClellandtown was sentenced to one year probation for making repairs to or selling offensive weapons.

Ferne Michelle Hay, 46, of Dunbar was sentenced to 23 months intermediate punishment, with the first 90 days served on electronic monitoring, for DUI.

Traci Renee Baker, 36, of Dilliner was sentenced to 20 months intermediate punishment, with the first 90 days served on electronic monitoring, for DUI.

Lisa A. Bobrick, 42, of Uniontown was sentenced to 72 hours to six months in prison for DUI.

Rhonda Anne Grooms, 44, of Cardale was sentenced to three to 12 months in prison for false identification.

Gregory A. Martinko, 27, of Masontown was sentenced to a total of one year, six months to three years in prison for three cases involving two counts of robbery and one count of theft by deception.

Lateef M. Brown, 19, of Uniontown was sentenced to a total of six to 23 months in prison in two cases involving counts of flight to avoid apprehension and possession with intent to deliver drugs.

Bobby Joe Guthrie, 30, of Masontown was sentenced to 90 days to 20 months in prison for DUI.

Barry Lee Nicholson, 35, of Vanderbilt was sentenced to one year probation for possession of a controlled substance and one year probation for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Gary Allen Rose, 25, of Dellsow, W.Va., was sentenced to one year probation for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thomas Patrick Orr, 51, of Dunbar was sentenced to one year probation for possession of drug paraphernalia.

David G. Kooser, 51, of Connellsville was sentenced to one year probation for criminal mischief.

Jason Levi Hayden, 36, of Everson was sentenced to 23 months intermediate punishment, with the first 90 days served on electronic monitoring, for DUI.

Barbara Ann Kroskie, 29, of Belle Vernon was sentenced to two years probation for simple assault.

Joel Alexander Oliver, 21, of Republic was sentenced to 30 days probation for possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Benjamin Raymond Johnson, 47, of Uniontown was sentenced to six months intermediate punishment, with the first 12 days served on electronic monitoring, for DUI.
