Charges dismissed against Uniontown man charged in assault
All charges were dismissed today against a Uniontown man accused of assaulting a woman last year. Uniontown police Officer Frederick Kampert said Derrick Anthony Bass, 20, was charged in September 2009 before Magisterial District Judge Michael Defino with aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief following the alleged beating of Jamie Sapp, 20, of Point Marion.
The alleged assault occurred Sept. 16 in Uniontown.
