Hope Lee Peterson Harrell, 49, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, departed this life on September 17, 2010. Hope was born December 4, 1960 to Earl and Sarah Lee Peterson.

Hope was a graduate of Brownsville Area High School. She attended California University of Pennsylvania.

Hope was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Sarah Lee Peterson, her grandmother, Zora Marshall, grandfather, Anderson Childs, her brother, Earl Peterson Jr, and her sisters, Katie and Claudette Peterson.

Hope is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lucretia and Danny Clark of Lake Charles, LA; daughter, Darlen Carter of Lake Charles; LA; her son, Roman Peterson, of Jacksonville, NC; her grandchildren: Tavius Clark, Kaiya Clark, and Makenna Clark of Lake Charles, LA. Also surviving are two brothers: Frank Peterson of West Palm Beach, FL and William Peterson of Phoenix, AZ; and seven sisters: Ann Williams of Lorain, OH, Mrs. Rose Thompson of Jacksonville, NC, Mrs. Leola Bryant of Philadelphia, PA, Mrs. Darlene Ervin of Melbourne, FL, Mrs. Sara Harper of High Point, NC, Maureen Grooms of Philadelphia, PA, and Lucinda Evans of Pittsburgh, PA; an aunt, Lorraine Clark of Houston, TX; an uncle, James Childs of Mobile, AL and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the NEW BEGINNINGS FULL GOSPEL CHURCH, 93 Jefferson Ave., Uniontown with Bishop Leonard Tucker officiating.
