Lois E. Martin Yutzy
Lois E. Martin Yutzy, age 81 years, of McClellandtown died Monday, September 20, 2010 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born January 10, 1929 in Greensboro, PA, to the late Roy C. Martin and Jessie Warren Martin.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Roy C. Martin, Jr. and sister, Mary Mae Martin.
Lois graduated with Ford City High School Class of 1946. Her employment consisted of office manager for Bud Haas Toyota, personnel manager for Bon Ton, then worked in administration for Fayette County MH/MR. She was a member of the McClellandtown Presbyterian Church, where she served as an ordained elder and was the former director of the Adult, Chapel and Junior Choirs.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Delbert E. Yutzy; two daughters: Jane Yutzy and husband, Walter Brady of Imperial, PA and Barbara Elsesser and husband, John of Allison Park, PA
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, PA, where friends will be received today, September 21, 2010 from 2 until 4 PM and 7 until 9 PM. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 10 until 11 AM, followed by a service celebrating Lois’s life at 11 AM with Rev. Ross Bash officiating.
Interment will be held in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA.
The family suggests donations may be made to the German-Masontown Public Library, 9 S. Washington St., Masontown, PA 15461.
