Paul Horvath
Paul Horvath, age 84, of Blainsburg, PA died Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at his home. He was born on May 24, 1926 in West Brownsville, PA, son of the late Nicholas and Mary Nagy Horvath.
Former President of the West Brownsville Boro Council, member of American Legion Post 940 West Brownsville, PA, California Gun Club and West Brownsville Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by his Wife, Jane Kovachick Horvath; Daughter, Paula Petty and husband, Thomas, Sr.; two Grandsons: Thomas Petty, Jr. and Travis Petty; Nephews: Larry Mason and wife, Patty and Kenton King; Niece: Ally King; Brothers: Joe Horvath and James Horvath.
He was predeceased by Brothers, Nick, Frank, Pete, John, George and Bob, Sisters, Margaret Rockwell and Betty Austin.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park St., Brownsville, PA today (Thursday) from 6 – 9 p.m., where a Blessing Service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Father Micah E. Kozoil officiating.
Entombment will be held in the Lafayette Memorial Park. The family request no flowers.
