Darlene Marie Rodeheaver
Darlene Marie Rodeheaver, 70 of Uniontown, Pa. died Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at her residence. She was born July 12, 1940 in Oliver No. 1.
Preceding her in death were her parents Albert A. Young and Winnie (Stafford) Young, an infant brother Robert Young and a granddaughter Toni Marie Rodeheaver.
Darlene was an active member of the Christ United Methodist Church and the Adrian Bible Class. She had previously been employed as comptroller with the Uniontown Redevelopment Authority for 22 years.
Surviving are her loving husband of 49 years, Charles F. Rodeheaver, a son Scott Rodeheaver and wife Sandra of Republic, Pa.; two daughters, Cheryl Lynn Rodeheaver of Smithfield, Pa. and Diana D. Rodeheaver of Huntsville, Ala.; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; a sister Jean Grover and husband Dean of Dunbar, Pa. and a brother William Young and wife Peggy of Eatonton, Ga.
Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave. Uniontown, PA today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday in the CHRIST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, corner of Fayette and Beeson Streets from 10 to 11 a.m.
The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Kelly Smith officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park Brier Hill, PA.
