Laura Jean Fike Long Dodson
0005947260-01-1.jpg Laura Jean (Fike) Long Dodson, 92 years, of Norton, O h i o and formerly o f t h e Fairchance Pennsyl-vania area, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2010. Laura Jean was born in Rosedale, Fayette County, Pennsylvania the daughter of Lloyd G. Fike and Mary A. (Wilson) Fike.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands, Jim Long and Charles Dodson; and a sister, Ruth.
Surviving are her son, William J. Long and his wife Kay of Norton; granddaughter, Debbie and Brent Bauer of Norton; great granddaughter, Sara Bauer, Fairlawn, Ohio; great grandson, Ryan Bauer, Winter Garden, Florida; and sisters: Eleanor Mae Huntley of Fairchance and E l s i e Rhodes, Clermont, Florida.
The family received friends on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. in BACHER FUNERAL HOME, 3250 Greenwich Road, Norton, OH 44203 (330.825.3633).
Visitation will continue in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, PA 15436 (724.564.7465) today (Sunday) from 4 to 6 p.m. and Monday, September 27, 2010 until 1:30 p.m., the hour of the Service with the Reverend Robert J. Robinson officiating.
Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park Brownfield, Pennsylvania.
