Blanche M. Henninger DiVizio
Blanche M. (Henninger) DiVizio, age 92, of Uniontown, Pennsylvania died Saturday April 2, 2011 in Presbyterian Senior Care, Washington, Pennsylvania.
She was born in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania o n S u n d a y, February 2, 1919.
Blanche was a former member of the Uniontown Church of the Brethren and a member of the Quilting Club.
Blanche was a Nurse’s Aide and at one time worked at Martin’s Bakery.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Hiram Henninger and Mollie Price Henninger Teets; her husband, Louis A. DiVizio; and a brother, Wilmer Henninger.
Surviving are two daughters: Philomena Thomas and her husband Telford W. Thomas of Frederick, Maryland and Louise Linberg of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania and husband Nile A. Linberg; her five grandchildren: Bradford Thomas of York, Pennsylvania, T. Jefferson Thomas and his wife Tracy of Mount Airy, Maryland, Celeste Rosen and her husband Mark of Imperial, Pennsylvania, A n d r i a Spezialetti of Phoenix, Arizona and Ashleigh Linberg and her fiancé David Scott,Canonsburg Pennsylvania; six great grand-children: Madison, Claire and Alexander Thomas of Mount Airy, Maryland and Julius, Joshua and Seth Rosen of Imperial, Pennsylvania; and a brother, Lester Henninger of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Family will receive Friends in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME at 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pennsylvania on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 until 11 a.m., the hour of the Service with Pastor Gary A. Gibson officiating.
Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Uniontown.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested memorial donations be made to the Presbyterian Senior Care Foundation Southminster/Woodside, 835 S o u t h M a i n S t r e e t, Washington, PA 15301.
