Mary Jane Smith Duncan, 90, Uniontown, Pennsylvania died Monday, April 4, 2011 in Peroni’s Personal Care Home, Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
She was born on Saturday, August 7, 1920 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania the Daughter of Ephriam Smith and Mary McCartney Smith.
She was a member of the Cherry Tree Alliance Church, Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her Parents; and an Infant Sister, Mary Jane Smith.
Mary Jane is survived by her husband Robert R. Duncan Sr.; five Children: Robert R. Duncan Jr. and his wife Lina of Panama City, Panama, Jonathon S. Duncan and wife Bonnie Jean of Staffordsville, Kentucky, Mark C. Duncan and wife Cecelia, New Salem, Pennsylvania, Jeanne ‘Vee’ Ellis and husband Chuck, Oakdale, Pennsylvania, Sheila S. Hampton and husband Dale, of Stephens City, Virginia; 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; a Sister, Lillian Jeanne Harris, Fayetteville, West Virginia; and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Friends will be received in SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME 680 CHERRY TREE LANE, Uniontown, Pennsylvania today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, April 7, 2011 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., the hour of the Funeral Service with Reverend Robert Ellenberger officiating.
Interment will follow in Chalk Hill Cemetery, Chalk Hill, Pennsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at the Funeral Home to the Spina Bifida Foundation or to Peroni’s Personal Care Home.
