James A. ‘Jimmy’ Seleskie, 60, of Coal Center, Pa., died peacefully on Thursday, April 7, 2011.

He was born Wednesday, June 14, 1950, in California, Pa., the son of the late Alexander and Norma Fay (Hartman) Seleskie.

Jimmy was a quiet man who loved cars and his nephew Buddy Kovach.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Deby Kovach and his nephew, Buddy Kovach. He is the last member of his immediate family.

Left to cherish his memory are his aunts, Lois Gelder of Charleroi, PA, Henrietta Spencer of Trenton, Mich., Bette Underwood of Stow, Ohio, and Dorothy Vizza of Monessen, Pa.. Also surviving are numerous cousins and friends.

Friends will be received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME, INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, PA on Saturday, April 9, 2011 from 10 am to 12:00 pm.

Funeral services will begin at noon with Rev. Jana Quisenberry officiating.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
